This course is a study of zoological diversity emphasizing the characteristics, classification, and evolutionary relationships of major animal phyla and classes. Topics include comparative anatomy, physiology, behavior, and ecology of all major animal phyla, classes, and orders. The global loss of biodiversity and principles of conservation are also covered.
