Program Description
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting prepares students for careers in accounting and finance by providing a strong foundation in accounting principles, business practices, and technology applications. Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software and develop the skills needed to manage financial records, prepare reports, and support organizational decision-making. Includes comprehensive training in financial and managerial accounting, payroll, tax preparation, and cost accounting.

- Minimum grade of "C" for each course
- Minimum cumulative MCC GPA of 2.0 to graduate
- Remedial/Developmental level courses do not apply.
- 25% of the credits in this program must be taken at MCC
