How to Apply for Financial Aid

  1. Apply for Admission to Morgan Community College
  2. Complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    or
    Undocumented, Colorado ASSET students may apply for aid using the Colorado Appllication for Student Financial Aid (CASFA)

    MCC Federal School Code is 009981 
    • Application to be completed prior to enrollment.
    • Application is for federal and state grants as well as federal student loans and work-study
  3. Complete the MCC General Scholarship Application.
  4. Activate your student email.  The Financial Aid Office will notify students through email if additional
    information/documentation is needed.  Additional requirements are posted in the student portal in the Financial Aid Requirements channel on the Financial Aid and Payments tab.  All documentation must be received within 60 days of the last date of attendance or by June 15 of the academic year to receive payment of aid, except for Federal Pell Grant. For Federal Pell Grant program purposes, an applicant selected for verification must provide requested documentation within 120 days of the last date of enrollment for the award year or by the deadline established each year by the Department, whichever is earlier.
  5. SUMMER FINANCIAL AID requires a separate application.  In addition to the FAFSA/CASFA, students complete the  Summer Intent to Enroll, available online March1st.
