Addendums are changes that have the potential to affect students' ability to pursue, fund, or register for their program. These will also include the addition of new programs or degrees to the catalog after it has been published for the academic year. Any and all addendums to the course catalog after it is officially published for the academic year will be publicly documented on the home page of the catalog.
Addendums will fall into one of two main categories:
Summary Term Addendums
Published twice per academic year:
- June 1st - Changes effective at start of Fall term
- November 1st - Changes effective at start of Spring term
Summary Term Addendums will outline all impactful changes or corrections planned for either Fall or Spring term of the current catalog and will be published on or around the above dates.
Immediate Addendums
Immediate addendums will contain changes or corrections to the current catalog that are necessary to implement quickly to address critical issues, correct time-sensitive information, or ensure institutional compliance.
MCC will work to contact any students that are impacted by Immediate Addendums to minimize disruptions to their academics and provide support in any cases where action is necessary for students to remain on-track in their program.
