Payment Policy

Tuition, fees, and other charges are to be paid at the time of registration or by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the add/drop date for 15-week classes (also called the college “census date”), regardless of the start date of the class(es) for that semester.  For classes not dropped, full payment must be made, or a deferred payment plan must be in place by the posted deadline.  A student should work closely with MCC’s financial aid staff, as applicable and appropriate, to ensure the student complies with all financial aid requirements upon dropping any classes.

Please note that it is the student’s responsibility to unenroll and drop classes if the student is not planning to attend MCC.  The student should log on to his/her student account at MyMCC and drop the classes by the published add/drop date for 15-week classes.  While MCC intends to drop students for non-payment, MCC cannot guarantee classes will be dropped for unpaid accounts by the appropriate deadline.  Students will be responsible for any balances owed for classes that were not dropped by the published deadline.
