The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Emphasis prepares students for initial licensure in Elementary Education (K-6) while providing specialized coursework in early childhood education. This emphasis equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to support young learners, with the option to pursue an additional endorsement in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3). The program combines foundational education courses, hands-on field experiences, and advanced methods in child development, literacy, and differentiated instruction. Graduates will be prepared to create inclusive, engaging learning environments that foster the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of diverse student populations.
