Program Description

This certificate prepares the student for a position as a teacher in an early childhood care setting or an education program.

PROGRAM PREREQUISITE:  Each student is required to complete and pass a criminal background check.

  • Minimum grade of "C" for each course
  • Minimum cumulative MCC GPA of 2.0 to graduate
  • Remedial/Developmental level courses do not apply.
  • 25% of the credits in this program must be taken at MCC
